King Koala
This is a collaboration project made by myself and the talented Stephanie Bühler from Germany, you can check her awesome work in Instagram (@stina_buh).
The idea behind this project was to separate the idea from the execution by delegating those processes. She created the base composite with the main 3 elements. I took care of the lighting, details, color grading and overall mood. The idea was great, it just needed a real sense of scale, that's why I added the buildings and the rest of the elements; including the second chopper to show what the koala was looking at.
The entire piece was done using stock photography and Adobe Photoshop®. Down below there is a video with the Photoshop layer breakdown if you want to check out the whole retouching and composite.
